Winter Lights Along the Greenway

East Boston Greenway, between Marginal Street and Porter Street Performances will occur near the blue caboose near South Bremen and Marginal Streets

Enjoy the East Boston Greenway lit up with over 1000 festive luminarias and a holiday sing-along with local performers and carolers including East Boston's own Zumix Youth Choir. Hot chocolate and cookies will keep you warm. Contact BNAN at 617-542-7696 or info@bostonnatural.org

Volunteer Opportunities for Winter Lights
MAKE LUMINARIAS
Thursday, December 3
3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. (Drop-in anytime)
Paris Street Community Center, 112 Paris Street, East Boston
Drop-in anytime between 3 and 8 pm Thursday night to help assemble paper bag luminarias with sand and candles. Stay 30 minutes or two hours, whatever works for you! Groups of all ages welcome. Contact Candice Cook if you plan to bring a group. 617-542-7696 or candice@bostonnatural.org
HELP ON EVENT DAY:
Saturday, December 5 (Raindate Sun. Dec 6)
SETUP - 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. - Be part of a team to set out and light over 1000 luminarias on the Greenway
MONITORS - 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. - Watch over a section of candles and light any that go out.
CLEANUP - 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. - Help gather up luminarias and go home with a box of them if you like. Contact Candice Cook to volunteer at 617-542-7696 or candice@bostonnatural.org. Please indicate your availability (Sat/Sun) and how you can help.
