The annual summer-long Neponset River Greenway Festival celebrates the River, its multi-use walking and biking trail and many riverfront parks with 25 family oriented events. The Festival events take place along the Neponset River in the Boston neighborhoods of Dorchester, Mattapan and Hyde Park and the town of Milton. The Festival is organized in partnership with the MA DCR, local businesses, non-profit groups, and residents. July 7 & 9 at sunset: The tale of three unlikely heroes - a misfit mouse with big ears, an unhappy rat, and a bumbling servant girl - whose fates are intertwined with that of the castle's princess.

August 4 & 6 at sunset: Set in the Greek islands, a bride-to-be reads through her mother’s diary and invites three men to her wedding to find out who her father might be.
August 11 & 13 at sunset: Jedi masters fight the dark side to maintain peace as the Clone Wars seize the galaxy.
August 18 & 20 at sunset: A little girl finds out that her father has the supernatural ability to bring life to characters from books when he reads aloud.
August 25 & 27 at sunset: In this latest installment of the classic adventure tales, a professor must prevent a magical skull from falling into the hands of the Soviet.
