Beyond the Neponset Greenway Bike Ride

Neponset River Greenway Event

10:00 a.m.
Meet at Paul’s Bridge Parking Lot, Neponset Valley Pkwy. & Brush Hill Rd., Milton

This group bike ride will start at the end of the Neponset River Greenway and head south through the Fowl Meadow section of Blue Hills into Canton, ending with beautiful views from The Trustees of Reservations’ Signal Hill Reservation. The ride is a short 10 miles, with the first few miles off-road, so hybrid or mountain bikes are recommended. Helmets are required. Reservations suggested. Planting Techniques

Seed, Sow & Grow Series
Presenter: Jeremy Dick, Horticulturist
Learn proper planting techniques for a variety of plants including balled and burlappe trees and shrubs, potted stock, perennial divisions and annuals. Demonstrations will include the planting of a shade tree along Edgewater Drive, an annual tradition at City Natives. Free, registration is not required.
