Sounds of the Garden
Community Garden Concert Series
Boston Natural Areas Network, along with musicians Ellen Schmidt and Jake Kensinger, will once again in 2011 present concerts in community gardens this summer. Many talented singers and musicians will perform. The gardens offer a unique venue for enjoying lively music while spending time with neighbors, family and friends.
All performances are FREE. All are welcome.
Come and bring your friends and family! Children are welcome and dancing is encouraged. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the Sounds of the Garden.

July 20: Nightingale Community Garden

The LEO COLON JAZZ PROJECT
Enjoy Latin jazz and swing with an accent on Caribbean
rhythms, great for dancing and grooving.
August 3: Leland Street Community Garden
6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
2-6 Leland Street, Jamaica Plain
LLOYD THAYER
Lloyd plays blues, old and new, on resonator guitar and harmonica.
August 10: Nightingale Community Garden
6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

VALDISA MOURA
Valdisa performs an energetic mix of Brazilian folk and jazz.
August 24: Southwest Corridor Community Farm

Singer/guitarist Deborah and percussionist Giovani perform lively
Brazilian inspired originals and samba and bossanova standards.
