Physical Description:
Oakview Terrace Urban Wild includes three parcels of urban forest at the end of the Oakview Terrace cul-de-sac in Jamaica Plain. The wild marks the western edge of a small ridge of Roxbury conglomerate bedrock from which topography drops 40’ down to the backyards of homes situated along Saint Peter Street. This wall of puddingstone is the most dramatic feature of this wild and is best viewed from Boylston Street during the winter months.
