Through the Seed, Sow & Grow program series, Boston Natural Areas Network offers horticultural programs throughout the growing season. Seed, Sow & Grow is a unique opportunity for community and backyard gardeners to learn innovative gardening techniques with Boston Natural Areas Network staff, special instructors and fellow gardeners. All programs, unless otherwise noted, are open to the public and are held at City Natives in Mattapan Square. Pre-registration is required to attend some programs, and registering soon is recommended.
Most Seed, Sow & Grow programs are free to members of BNAN and The Trustees of Reservations, exceptions are noted. Registrations are accepted up to the day of each workshop and fees are due the day of each workshop, payable in cash or by check made out to BNAN. Workshops are limited to 15 participants, unless otherwise noted, and may be cancelled due to low registration. Participants should dress appropriately for weather and program; a canopy is provided for some weather protection. Events cancel due to rain or severe weather.
